Pre Contract / QS / Estimator Manager - Flooring
basingstoke | Permanent, full-time| £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Negotiable Salary + Benefits Package)
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading Hampshire based Commercial Flooring Specialists who are winning Business UK Wide but especially across the South of England from their mid Hants based head offices.
They specialise in large volume Construction and new build contracts and are increasingly competing with some of the giants of the sector.
As a consequence of this increased profile and workload they are now seeking a Commercial Flooring Professional to help manage their Pre-contract and Tendering processes to help them win more business and to help with their growth objectives for 2022.
This will be a key role in the company moving forward and will put the right candidate at the heart of operations, working closely with both the Sales and Project Management teams.

Duties of the Role and Required Experience:
We are seeking a Confident and Experienced Pre-Contracts Specialist / Estimator / Quants Specialist who can deal with the myriad of elements of individual projects multiplied over several projects concurrently, this will require you to have experience of working on high value and volume Tenders and Estimates for Flooring Projects.
Overseeing the Tendering process and following up to support the Sales team and senior management winning new business.
Sourcing Labour, Materials and logistics as required.
Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met for all contracts along with any other compliance related issues.
An excellent all round knowledge of Flooring Installations into our clients target Construction sector clients and how to win business / tenders in such is a vital part of the role.
Our clients are seeking a high calibre individual, ideally from within a Commercial / Contract Contractors background who is used to dealing with main Tier 1 Clients and has contacts from within such.
The role will be based from our clients offices in Hampshire ideally, though they are seeking the right skillset for the role so are prepared to be flexible with location so long as you are happy to work from home and are prepared to travel to the offices or to sites as required.
Update: Our clients are open to a candidate with the right background and skillset working remotely with visits as required to the office.
