Retail / Commercial Flooring Specialists

Carpet Roles Uk are delighted to be assisting their new clients, a leading Hampshire based Carpet and Flooring Retailers and soft Flooring Contractors in their search for additional staffing to assist with both the Retail and Contract / Commercial sides of the business.

They have supplied us with a specification which is available on request for the Sales / Estimator element they see as a priority in their requirements but we at Carpet Roles UK will welcome approaches from “Flooring Professionals” who can match our clients broader requirements and their “Unicorn” of someone who will be happy to run with the ball on both retail and commercial aspects of the business.

There is a role for a really experienced Carpet and Flooring Sales and Estimating Professional with a track record of delivering on Retail and Commercial Sales and Surveys etc.

Our Clients are seeking someone with the following attributes:

• A Flooring Sales Professional with a proven track record of supplying excellent Customer Service and a high achiever in personal sales performance.
• Experience (or the aptitude to learn) of Masterpiece or similar Quantification / Estimating Software.
• A Great Sales track record on either (or ideally both) Commercial or Retail Flooring Sales.
• Well organised and focussed approach.
• Prepared to muck in and assist in whichever part of the business needs your assistance and a Can Do attitude with the flexibility to change focus as required.
• Excellent Presentation and Communication skills with a keen eye for presenting Products and sourcing them to the very best of your ability.
• An excellent and up to date knowledge of Flooring Products and installation methods.
• Capable of dealing with Commercial Clients as well as Retail.
• Commercially aware and technically prepared to gather all project documentation (blue prints etc) for Commercial / Contract Works.

The role(s) our clients are seeking can be combined and / or split and come with various levels of salary as follows:

• Combined Commercial Flooring / Retail Sales Professionals - Year One Basic £25k OTE £35k Year Two £45k+
• Commercial Flooring Specialists - Year One Basic £22k OTE £30k Year Two £40k+
• Retail Sales Specialist - Year One Basic £18750 OTE £25k but probably £30k
