Business Development Manager - Flooring

Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a well established and successful hertfordshire based Flooring Contractors with their plans to develop their business during 2017 and have a number of live vacancies we are seeking to fill, in this instance we are seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Business Development Manager to assist with winning both an existing pipeline of Tenders and to bring in additional New Business via contacts and clients they have dealt with previously in the South East Region and in London in particular.
Our clients work is highly regarded, typical clients include Nursing Homes, Health and Social care environments as well as educational and Office Fit Out works and have many large Main Contractor clients who they work on behalf of. The role will involve winning Tenders and adding new clients across all sectors of our clients business so we are briefed to only submit candidates of a suitably high calibre who can demonstrate a proven track record in the sector.
Our clients have advised their business Development manager’s responsibilities as below:
▪ developing the customer base from cold through to close
▪ working on existing clients for repeat business, bring any issues to management attention.
▪ qualifying, gaining sales appointments and / or developing strategy to achieve sales
▪ finding new revenue streams, developing partnerships, writing proposals…
The role will involve Working closely with our clients estimating team and at times on their own.
Bottom line, the ideal candidate must be well experienced within the construction industry ideally in flooring working to targets and timelines.
