Office Manager - Commercial Flooring Contractors

Carpet Roles Uk are delighted to be assisting our clients, a well established Commercial Flooring Contractors in their search for an energetic and efficient Office Manager / Administrator to support their operations and to help keep things running smoothly.
We have a detailed job specification available on application for this role but at its core we are looking for someone who can take charge of the Administrative functions of the Business and allow the Directors and Project Managers to get on with what they do best, delivering Great Flooring to businesses across Cambridgeshire and the wider Region.
The Role is Administrative and Customer Focused with elements of HR and Sales Support.

You will ideally already be from a related Construction / Trades background and be used to be being busy, organised and efficient but also able to deal with people from all backgrounds and skills in a Friendly and Professional manner.

- Offering Full Admin Support to the Directors.
- Management of Carpet and Flooring Fitters Diaries in cooperation with Project Managers to ensure Labour is where it needs to be.
- Overseeing Mileage Claims and Checks on Company Vehicles.
- New Business Support with Paperwork and Filing of Tenders and Quotes and related Documents.
- Generation upon successful Tender acceptance of Job Sheets.
- Ordering Materials as required for the works to be completed and running a Purchase Order System to administer the process.
- Booking Site Visits for Surveys and Sales Meetings etc.
- General Office Support duties as required.
- Answering incoming calls.
- Filing and Post.
- Working closely with the Directors and Projects Teams.

Hours of Work and Salary
- Hours of Work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 17:00pm with an Hour for Lunch to give a 37.5 hour Working Week.
- 28 Days Holiday (includes Bank Holidays)
- The Salary is Negotiable in the Region of £25000 to start.
