Fitter Development Manager
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading player in the New Build Homes Flooring market in their search for additional members of their team to service a bulging order book with lot’s of long term ongoing works throughout the North West and Midlands Regions. In this instance we are seeking someone with an excellent track record and lot’s of contacts in the installation and fitting side of the Job.
The Job: The job involves recruiting new carpet and flooring fitters to work in the new housing market predominantly in the North West. This would involve meeting potential fitters, organising advertising and marketing to attract fitters as well as cold calling on sites were fitters may be working.
Requirements: The job would be ideal for someone already doing a similar job with a knowledge of existing fitters looking for new opportunities. As well as recruiting new fitters the role would involve visiting fitters on site, checking the work standards and implementing health and safety for example tool box talks. The ideal person would be out of the office at least 3 days a week and could reside within a radius of 50 miles from our client’s base in Staffordshire.

- Enthusiasm and Creativity in marketing and attracting Fitting Staff.
- An excellent knowledge of Carpet and Floor Laying.
- A lot of Fitting Contacts you could call upon.
- A fantastic ability to communicate with and resolve any issues that Fitters may have.
- Experience of Health and Safety (Tool Box Talks etc) and of getting the best results for the customer every time.
- Comfortable communicating with Site Managers and dealing with any problems that they report quickly, courteously and efficiently.
