Account Manager - Carpet Specification Sales

Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading Brand in the Carpet and Carpet Tile sector in their search for additional Sales Professionals to introduce their stunning range of products into the A&D, Main Contractor and High Volume End User Projects Sectors in London.
We are seeking Relationship Building, Consultative, Design Led Sales Professionals, ideally from a Flooring or closely related Finish background.
The right person will receive product training but will be well versed in their knowledge of the Contract and Tendering / Specification Route to market and will have a track record of dealing with Architects and Designers, End User Design Departments and Main Contractor QS and Sales Divisions to help our clients products reach the end of the route to specification and ultimate installations.
You will additionally possess the Soft Skills required to make a real killer combination in tandem with our clients Products, great Presentation Skills and interpersonal rapport building whilst maintaining a professional and consultative approach to doing business in this competitive but varied sector.
The core duties will be to build sales with both a well established and warm client base throughout Central London and also to introduce the range of Tiles and Carpets to new channels and ultimately to win more specifications via new and repeat business opportunities.
You will also call upon and manage Main Contractor business throughout the region and work on relationships, managing issues and building future opportunities to grow the revenue on the area.
A strong eye for the importance of detail, a Flair for design and an ability to see through a designers eyes and build enthusiasm and vision is a key ingredient for this exciting opportunity. You will be able to handle a design brief, liaise with our clients internal support and design teams and create a real cooperative Synergy between all stakeholders leading to the Specification and ultimate installation of our clients range ahead of those of the competition.
