We are working with a national law firm to recruit a Paralegal to join the Housing Management team in Birmingham. The firm has one of the largest housing management team's in the country and is renowned for its work in this practice area.

We are working with a national law firm to recruit a Paralegal to join the Housing Management team in Birmingham. The firm has one of the largest housing management team's in the country and is renowned for its work in this practice area.
The role
- Run your own matters alongside solicitors: possession claims, injunctions, disrepair, leaseholder and forfeiture claims
- Draft claim forms, pleadings and witness statements for the County Court
- Juggle multiple deadlines, prepare trial bundles, and liaise with the courts
- Attend court to support barristers and fee earners — and conduct your own advocacy on routine matters
- Occasional site visits
- Previous Litigation experience - housing/property litigation experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Working knowledge of the CPR
- Exposure to County Court a bonus
- Educated to degree level,
- Working towards or completed LPC/SQE desirable
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Sharp organisation — your own diary, heavy workload, tight deadlines
- Confidence, tenacity, and the ability to work with limited supervision
