Womenswear Garment Technologist
Location: East London
Salary to £50K + Bens
A great opportunity has come up with a well-established and now growing Womenswear supplier in East London who work with over 10 top high street retailers and supermarkets
They are looking for a well versed and keen Womenswear Garments Technologist who will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to garment production. This includes ensuring the fit, construction, and quality of garments, conducting fittings and making necessary adjustments, with various customers
Knowledge of garment production processes and quality control standards
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Checking production and administering of sealers and approving pre-production samples
Liaising with the production team in house and collaborating with teams and the companies’ factories across Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Morocco to meet production timelines.
MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED
Recent experience as a Womenswear Garment Technologist with a Womenswear High Street Manufacturer or Womenswear high street Retailer , ideally experienced in tailored product
Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, and fitting
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with customers and factories
Prior experience in a similar role is essential
London based and commutable to eligible to work in the UK
