This role combines relationship-led business development with hands-on involvement in loan origination, assessment, and ongoing client management.
The Role
- Build and grow referral relationships with banks, brokers, accountants, and business advisers
- Generate and qualify new loan enquiries
- Meet prospective borrowers to assess funding requirements
- Prepare loan applications for credit approval
- Support portfolio management, including monitoring and recoveries where required
- Promote the organisation at networking events, conferences, and industry meetings
- Contribute to business growth targets and strategic initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in business development, lending, or financial services
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfortable assessing SME funding needs and financial information
- Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
- Willing to travel and attend external events
- Salary up to £42,000
- £400 per month car allowance + mileage
