Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, proactive and client-focused mortgage advice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the lending journey
- Deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
- Communicate effectively with lenders, clients and third parties involved in the process
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks and lending partners
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records using the company CRM system
- Follow internal compliance procedures and maintain detailed case records
- Liaise with clients before and after application submission
- Support review and referral strategies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team development
- Strong sales motivation and target-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High standards of customer service
- Strong organisation and time management abilities
- Good understanding of mortgage and lending products
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Accurate with strong attention to detail
- Professional, personable and self-motivated
- Minimum 2 years’ experience advising on secured or second charge loans
- Experience managing cases from enquiry through to completion
- CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven track record in second charge mortgage sales
- Comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of property finance solutions and exit strategies
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
