A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a qualified Accounts & Audit Senior to join its expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work across a diverse client portfolio, gaining exposure to both accounts preparation and audit assignments. The role offers involvement across all stages of engagements, from planning through to completion, alongside opportunities to support and mentor junior team members.

The Role and Responsibilities:
- Working across a varied portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparing statutory accounts in line with relevant accounting standards
- Involvement in audit assignments from planning through to fieldwork and completion
- Taking ownership of assignments and managing jobs through to completion
- Liaising directly with clients, responding to queries and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing guidance and support where required
- Managing multiple deadlines and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- A minimum of one year post-qualification experience, with at least five years’ total experience within practice across accounts and audit
- Strong experience preparing statutory accounts
- Practical audit experience across planning, fieldwork and completion stages
- Sound technical knowledge of accounting standards and audit procedures
- Confident communicator with experience dealing directly with clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
