The Opportunity: Shaping a Digital Legacy

As Social Media & Content Manager, you will spearhead the digital narrative of a brand that continually shapes the direction of the industry. This is a position for an individual with a true passion for storytelling, digital culture, and community engagement. You’ll not only manage and optimise every aspect of our client’s social media presence but will also act as the creative architect behind campaigns, launches, and collaborations that echo across the world. You will hold hands-on responsibility for bringing the brand’s vision to life through visually striking and culturally resonant digital content.

Within this highly visible role, you will:

●     Elevate Brand Voice: Develop a compelling and consistent digital voice that captures the essence of our client’s cultural impact and urban heritage, ensuring all communication remains genuine yet innovative.
●     Lead Strategic Content Planning: Oversee the creation and management of comprehensive content calendars, seamlessly mapping out the cadence of product drops, exclusive collaborations, and cultural moments. Your foresight will ensure campaigns are both timely and trend-setting.
●     Produce and Curate Outstanding Content: Bring innovative photo, video, and written assets to life—from Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Stories to long-form features and branded editorials. You’ll manage every step, from creative direction and storyboarding through to production, editing, and platform optimisation.
●     Nurture Community Growth: Proactively grow and engage a diverse and passionate digital community. Launch authentic dialogues with followers, respond to fan content, champion community stories, and weave genuine engagement into every campaign.
●     Forge Influencer & Brand Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, creators, musicians, and artists. Coordinate with them on co-created content, collaborative launches, and brand storytelling that expands reach and resonates deeply with the target audience.
●     Utilise Data-Led Insights: Continuously assess campaign and content performance using the latest analytics tools. Extract actionable insights to refine strategy, demonstrate ROI, and secure ever-greater levels of organic growth.
●     Stay Culturally Connected: Monitor the pulse of streetwear, music, and digital culture. Instantly identify and leverage relevant trends, viral moments, and new opportunities to position our client at the cultural forefront.
●     Champion Brand Safeguarding: Maintain consistency and integrity across all content touchpoints, ensuring visual, tonal, and messaging alignment with the brand’s values and long-term aspirations.
●     Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, PR, and creative colleagues to launch cohesive multi-channel campaigns, ensuring every digital output is integrated and impactful.
●     Drive Innovation: Explore emerging platforms, creative formats, and breakthrough content ideas to keep the brand’s digital presence lively, forward-thinking, and ahead of competitors.

A Day in the Life

Your days will be anything but predictable. One moment, you may be storyboarding viral campaign content for an upcoming apparel drop; the next, you may be live-streaming behind-the-scenes access to studio collaborations or attending brand events to capture authentic social moments. You’ll brief, direct, and collaborate with a talented mix of in-house creators and external production partners, ensuring all content reflects the energy, ethos, and identity of our client’s brand. All the while, you’ll keep a close eye on digital sentiment, spearhead community discussions, and adjust tactics in real time based on analytics.

Skills & Experience – What We’re Looking For - the shopping list 

We are searching for an accomplished digital marketer and storyteller with a track record of shaping and expanding influential social media brands within fashion, lifestyle, or youth culture. Ideally, you will bring:

●     Demonstrable experience planning and leading end-to-end social content, campaigns, and digital storytelling for high-profile brands.
●     A sophisticated grasp of cultural, social, and creative trends, especially in streetwear, music, and digital communities.
●     A creative mind and a keen eye for detail in visual design, video production (including short-form), and written copy.
●     Exceptional familiarity with platform specifics: Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter/X as well as an agile, hands-on approach to mastering emerging channels.
●     Strong organisation, prioritisation, and project management skills; able to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders within a fast-moving environment.
●     Expert use of digital analytics, social listening tools, and performance data to assess success and drive continuous improvement.
●     Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, able to collaborate both internally and externally, and confidently represent the brand online and in the wider creative community.
●     The ability to foster trust, inspire engagement, and navigate the fine balance between trend leadership and brand authenticity.
