The Role
Think of yourself as the ultimate fashion connector – matching must-have designs with the perfect retailer. You’ll take ownership of one or two major high street accounts, building close relationships with buyers and collaborating with internal teams to deliver standout collections.
From concept to delivery, you’ll be the key link making sure everything runs smoother than satin. If you’re commercially savvy, thrive on relationships, and love the buzz of the fashion industry, this could be your next big move.
Package: Competitive basic salary + commission, with an OTE of £42K
Location: Manchester (hybrid potential after onboarding)
What You’ll Need
Recent experience as a Womenswear Account Manager for a UK high street supplier (fast fashion focus ideal)
OR experience as a Buyer / Assistant Buyer for a high street retailer looking to step over to the supplier side
A proven record of growing accounts and increasing sales (you could sell a parka in July)
Strong critical path management and deadline juggling skills
Experience liaising with Far East factories and suppliers
Bonus points for mentoring or leading junior team members
Full right to work in the UK and commutable distance to Manchester city centre
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing and growing key womenswear accounts – building long-term, profitable relationships
Spotting new product and range opportunities that excite buyers
Overseeing the critical path from order to delivery, ensuring everything’s on trend and on time
Communicating daily with Far East suppliers to keep production seamless
Collaborating with design, merchandising, and production teams to bring ideas to life
Supporting and guiding junior colleagues to help the whole team shine
