Trade Counter Assistant
Bootle | Permanent, full-time| £22,000 - £24,000 per annum
We are actively recruiting for a busy and fast paced business in Bootle, they provide products and services to ventilation companies across the UK.
An opportunity has arisen for a Trade Counter Assistant to join the business on a permanent basis and they would look at starting this person ASAP.
Duties include:
· Providing quotes to customers
· Ordering stock
· Sending out invoices
· Taking payments by cash or card
· Ordering bespoke items
· Dealing with sales orders
· Picking and packing orders
This position would suit someone who has worked in a trade counter environment, you must be used to dealing with customers face to face at the trade counter then going into the warehouse to pick and pack the order.
Due to the nature of the business during busy periods this person may also have to drive and deliver orders on occasion, therefore a full UK drivers’ licence is essential.
The company uses a bespoke IT system which is extremely user friendly, you must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, you can finish early on a Friday at 3.30 pm. Overtime may be offered during busy periods and to conduct stock checks.
