Hours: Term time: Monday to Friday, 12.00pm–8.00pm. School holidays: Monday to Friday, 8.30am–6.30pm, with an earlier Friday finish.

Job Overview:
A qualified and experienced daily nanny is required to care for one boy, aged 7½, in the Olympia area. The role focuses on after-school care during term time and full days in the school holidays. The family are not originally from the UK and would like a nanny with excellent English. They live very close to a large park and would like someone who is happy to take him out regularly, including when the weather is a little drizzly. There are no pets in the household. A driver is not essential for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing consistent care during term time and full-day care in school holidays.
  • Planning and leading age-appropriate activities and games.
  • Encouraging outdoor play (e.g. trips to the park).
  • Supporting the child’s routines.
  • Providing structure and gentle guidance to help support the child’s social, emotional and behavioural development.
  • Ensuring the child’s areas and belongings are kept clean, tidy and organised.
Ideal Nanny:
  • Qualified and highly experienced nanny with a strong track record working with primary school–aged children.
  • Warm, calm and kind, with a steady, reassuring presence.
  • Proactive and organised, able to plan engaging, educational activities and outings.
  • Fluent English speaker, confident supporting a child’s language and educational development.
  • Energetic and happy to be outdoors in all weathers, including light rain.
  • Reliable, professional and able to work in partnership with parents who are not originally from the UK.
