Part-Time Live-Out Nanny (Oxford)

Job Overview:
A family in Oxford (OX2) is seeking a reliable, nurturing live-out nanny to support the care of a young girl, aged 3. Care is needed from Thursday afternoon to Monday morning every other week, with the first weekend commencing on 6th December 2025, then every other weekend thereafter. The family can cover Thursdays and Fridays if needed, so Saturday/Sunday-only cover is an option; however, their preference is for one nanny to cover the full Thursday to Monday period. The role requires a confident driver; ideally the nanny will have their own car, although the family can add the nanny as a second driver on their car. One hypoallergenic poodle in the home.

Responsibilities:

• Sole-charge care for a 3-year-old, providing warm, attentive care and age-appropriate engagement.
• Planning activities, play, outings, and maintaining a calm, consistent routine.
• Preparing meals/snacks and managing nursery duties related to the child.
• Supporting transitions at handover times and communicating updates to the parent.
• Driving as required (own car preferred; ability to use the family car if needed).

Ideal Nanny:

• Experienced nanny with proven toddler experience (ages ~3(+)-years-old).
• Confident driver (essential) (preferably access to own car).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent every-other-week schedule.
• Warm, calm, and proactive, with good judgement and clear communication.
• Comfortable working in a home with a dog.
• Enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and checkable references (essential).
