Responsibilities:
- Sole charge care for a 4½-year-old girl during rota weeks.
- Managing her full daily routine, including morning and bedtime routines.
- Supporting early learning and development in line with EYFS, including reading, early maths and journaling.
- Keeping Tapestry learning journal updated regularly.
- Carrying out school runs and escorting her to activities as required.
- Planning and supervising after-school activities, outings and playdates.
- Preparing healthy, fresh meals and snacks for the child.
- Maintaining the child’s bedroom, play areas, wardrobe and belongings, and carrying out light housekeeping related to her care.
- Liaising closely with parents and the other rota nanny to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
- Providing flexibility for occasional travel with the family.
- Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
- Experienced professional nanny with a solid background in rota or full-time nanny roles.
- Warm, calm and nurturing, able to build a secure and trusting relationship with a young child.
- Highly organised and confident in managing a sole-charge position.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and early years learning, with a proactive, educational approach.
- Discreet, professional and respectful of family privacy and boundaries.
- A confident, experienced driver is essential.
- Comfortable to travel with the family on occasion.
- Pet-friendly.
