Job Overview:
A warm, professional family based in Richmond, Surrey, is seeking a highly experienced and career-minded nanny to care for their 3-year-old daughter, with a new baby expected in October. Both parents work from home and are actively involved in their children’s lives, so the nanny must be comfortable with a shared care arrangement. The family is not originally from the UK and is looking for a native English-speaking nanny with a strong background in early childhood education and language development. The family require formal childcare qualifications e.g. Early Childhood Education Degree, Norland, NNEB, Cache level 3.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Sole and shared care of a girl aged 3 and a newborn.
  • Full nursery duties: cooking nutritious meals from scratch, laundry and organising the child’s belongings.
  • Supporting development through age-appropriate educational play and activities.
  • School drop-offs/pick-ups and attending classes (e.g., tennis, gym, playgroups) using the provided car.
  • Creating a structured and nurturing daily routine with clear boundaries.
  • Preparing her for Reception (starting Sept 2026).
  • Assisting with language acquisition and development in English.
Ideal Nanny:
  • Formal childcare qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NNEB, BA in Early Childhood Education – CPD-only training not sufficient).
  • At least 10 years of experience in similar roles, ideally within private households.
  • Must be a confident driver.
  • Strong cooking skills – must enjoy preparing healthy meals from fresh ingredients.
  • Confident, calm, highly organised, with a warm, kind and professional approach.
  • Strong understanding of child development and setting appropriate boundaries.
  • Must be confident working in partnership with parents.
Benefits:
  • 28 days paid holiday (10 days to be mutually agreed between the family and nanny).
  • Use of a car during working hours.
  • Parking space available for Nanny's own car if required.
  • All expenses related to child activities covered.
This is a long-term opportunity for a dedicated nanny who is passionate about supporting a child’s growth in a bilingual home, working in collaboration with hands-on parents, and helping the family grow and thrive.
