Job Specification: Travel Nanny/Personal Assistant for UHNW Family with boys aged 10 and 12 years.
Dates: ASAP for 3 - 4 months
Location: UK (British Passport Essential) with International Travel
(Salary: Competitive and generous, commensurate with experience)
Overview:
A highly experienced Travel Nanny/Personal Assistant is required to join a UHNW family for the Summer holidays. The ideal candidate will be a confident swimmer, with a genuine passion for water sports and an active lifestyle. This role involves a blend of childcare, educational support, organisational skills, and personal assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare and Educational Support:
Provide attentive care for very active boys.
Support the children with homework and educational activities as needed.
Engage the children in age-appropriate leisure and learning activities, including winter sports.
Ensure her safety and well-being during all activities, particularly skiing or other physical pursuits.
Household Assistance:
Assist with packing, unpacking, and organisation during the trip.
Coordinate daily schedules, including appointments and activities, by liaising with other staff members and external providers.
Personal Assistance Duties:
Work closely with other household staff to ensure seamless planning and logistics.
Organise and oversee appointments, events, and outings as directed by the family.
Candidate Profile:
Experienced: Minimum of 10+ years working with UHNW families or in a similar role.
Child-Centered: Strong background in childcare, ideally with teaching qualifications or equivalent experience.
Athletic and Outdoorsy: Confident swimmer, with enthusiasm for participating in water sports.
Highly Organized: Skilled in multi-tasking, planning, and managing logistics for a busy household.
Discreet and Professional: Maintains confidentiality and adapts easily to the family’s expectations and lifestyle.
Flexible: Willing to adapt to a dynamic schedule and varying tasks as required.
Requirements:
Qualification: Ideally a PGCE or similar
References: Checkable references from previous employers.
Skills: Proven ability to assist with homework and educational tasks.
Languages: Additional language skills are a plus.
Travel Ready: Valid British passport and ability to travel internationally for the required dates.
