Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Rota Nanny to care for their delightful 2-year-old child. This is a shared care position, working alongside the parents. The role offers the unique opportunity to travel and is based on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rota, ensuring an excellent work-life balance. The family also have a new baby who is cared for by a maternity nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional, loving care for a 2-year-old child, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to foster the child’s learning, creativity, and development.
- Maintain a consistent daily routine for the child, including mealtimes, naps, and bedtime.
- Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the child.
- Assist with light household duties related to the child, such as laundry, organising toys, and tidying the child’s room.
- Offer emotional support and create a nurturing, secure environment for the child.
- Support the child’s development through engaging educational games and play.
- Communicate regularly with the parents and other caregivers regarding the child’s routine, progress, and any concerns.
- Travel with the family, both domestically and internationally, ensuring the child’s comfort and safety during trips.
- Manage jet lag and help the child adjust to new environments during travel.
- Accompany the child to appointments, playdates, and outings as needed.
- Assist with bedtime routines and settling the child, especially when staying in new locations.
- Proven rota experience is essential for this role.
- Recognised formal childcare qualifications.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Experience in shared care arrangements, working collaboratively with other caregivers.
- Flexibility and experience with international travel, as well as the ability to adapt to different time zones, cultures, and environments.
- Energetic, proactive, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
- A valid UK passport ideally as a work permit can be supplied and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions is essential.
- Excellent checkable references from previous employers.
- The position follows a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rota.
- Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
