Location: Waltham St Lawrence, Berkshire
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00 am - 7.00 pm with flexibility required when the parents travel for work
Children: One baby, aged 10 weeks
Start Date: Begin in September
Salary: Excellent, depending on experience and qualifications

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, nurturing, and highly professional live-in or daily nanny to care for a newborn baby. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role (some flexibility will be required as the parents travel with work), with a focus on providing a calm, structured, and loving environment to support the baby's early development and routine. The family are looking for a long term candidate who 
is focused on child development and education who will help the baby reach all of the milestones as they grow.   

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full care of the baby, including feeding, nappy changes, soothing, and establishing healthy sleep routines
  • Monitoring developmental milestones and supporting early learning and sensory stimulation
  • Night time care, including feeds and settling
  • Maintaining detailed records of the baby’s feeding, sleeping, and development
  • Light housekeeping related to the baby including laundry, nursery cleaning, bottle sterilisation, etc.
  • Communicating regularly and openly with the parents on the baby's progress and needs
  • Adhering to safety standards and best practices for newborn care
  • Occasional assistance with packing for travel and accompanying family trips if required
Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years' professional experience with newborns plus longevity in previous nanny roles with checkable references 
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Early Childhood education, CACHE Level 3, Maternity Nurse Training, Paediatric First Aid Certification)
  • Strong understanding of newborn development and care routines
  • Calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
  • Ability to adapt to family preferences and integrate smoothly into a household
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy
  • Up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the update system (or willing to obtain)
  • Excellent references from previous nanny or maternity nurse roles
  • Fluent English
Accommodation:
  • Private bedroom and ensuite bathroom within the family home
  • All meals provided during working days
Additional Details:
  • Non-smoker essential
  • Driver’s license essential due to the location of the families home
