Daily Rota Nanny, 2 week rotation (Central London)
West London, London UK | Permanent, full-time
Job in private family: May 2025
Location: Central London / Portugal
Position: Daily Rota Nanny - 2 weeks on and off
Salary: £50,000 gross per annum
This lovely family are looking for a professional, organised, flexible, relaxed, kind and caring Daily Rota Nanny for two little boys (born February 2021 and May 2023). The ideal candidate for this family would be fluent in Spanish and would be expected to have a good understanding and experience of working with children of a similar age. The eldest boy will be starting school in September.
The children are happy, healthy and in a good routine. They enjoy being outside, going to playdates, going to the park and to classes. They are both very focused and independent. They love exploring and being allowed to be free to move!
The role is a mixture of sole charge and shared care; the Nanny should be happy to work alongside the parents but also be happy and capable of taking sole charge so that the parents can trust and rely on them when they need to work.
The family spend their Summer in Portugal and move for 3-4 months from May 2025. They spend the rest of the year in London.
The core working hours would be 8.30am to 6.30pm with flexibility for babysitting. The Rota Nanny would work on a 2 week rotation with the other nanny. Accommodation is available in both locations, and in London the accommodation provided is offsite.
The family like to enjoy family holidays and the nanny would be required to travel as well.
All nursery duties are required including the children’s laundry (washing, ironing etc) and ensuring that bedrooms and play areas are tidy and well organised. The Nanny on duty will also be expected to plan and prepare healthy nutritious meals for the children.
The Nanny would need to act on their own initiative and be highly organised with excellent communication skills as they would need to work closely with the family and the other rota nanny to provide the best level of care for the little boys. They should create a fun and stimulating environment to support the little boys as they develop and thrive. The successful candidate needs to have a good understanding of the role that a Nanny plays, with the ability to be discreet, respectful of the family home and to maintain professional boundaries.
A driver is essential.
There are no pets.
