Hours: Monday & Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: Negotiable based on experience

We are currently seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join a wonderful household in North London. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, ensuring the home is maintained to a high standard. The role will require working on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Maintenance:
  • Daily cleaning of all rooms in the house (living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, hallways, etc.)
  • Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing furniture and surfaces
  • Changing bed linens and making up beds
  • Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
  • Deep cleaning tasks (e.g., kitchen appliances, oven, and fridge) on a rotating basis
  • Maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas
Laundry & Ironing:
  • Washing, drying, and folding laundry
  • Ironing clothes to a high standard
  • Sorting and organising clothes, linen, and towels
  • Keeping track of laundry supplies and notifying when restocking is needed
Kitchen & Meal Preparation Support:
  • Cooking meals for the family, ensuring the provision of healthy and delicious options.
  • Cleaning kitchen counters, cabinets, and floors.
  • Washing dishes and utensils after meals.
  • Ensuring the kitchen is stocked and well-organised, including managing grocery lists and purchasing as needed.
  • Preparing and cooking special meals based on dietary preferences or requirements.
Organisation & Tidying:
  • Keeping household items and spaces organised
  • Managing household supplies (toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.)
  • Keeping closets, drawers, and storage areas tidy and well-organised
Additional Duties:
  • Managing household cleaning schedules and any other duties as required by the employer
  • Reporting any maintenance or repair issues that need attention
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven experience in housekeeping or similar roles
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Discretion and trustworthiness, with a focus on maintaining privacy and confidentiality
  • Good communication skills
