Part-Time Nanny (London, W4)

Job Title: Part-Time Live-Out Nanny – Chiswick, London.
Location: Chiswick, West London.
Start Date: Early January 2027, with the possibility of a December 2026 start.
Salary: Approximately £20.00–£23.00 gross per hour.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday and either Tuesday or Thursday, 10.00 am – 5.00 pm (21 hours per week).

Job Overview:
A lovely family based in Chiswick is seeking an experienced, warm and reliable Live-Out Nanny to care for their twin girls, currently aged 11 months.

The family are looking for a nurturing, proactive and trustworthy Nanny with proven experience caring for twins or two babies of a similar age. Encouraging independence, supporting developmental milestones and providing a loving, stimulating environment are key priorities.

Ideally, the Nanny will live locally, know the Chiswick area well and be familiar with suitable children's activities, parks and baby groups.

Responsibilities:

• Providing attentive, nurturing and age-appropriate care for the twins.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and individual developmental milestones.
• Planning stimulating, educational activities to support physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines.
• Supporting early communication and language development through play, reading and interaction.
• Organising local outings, walks and baby groups.
• Maintaining a safe, positive and nurturing environment.
• Communicating regularly with parents regarding the children's routines, activities and progress.

Ideal Nanny:

• Proven experience caring for twins or two babies of a similar age is essential.
• Excellent, checkable references and a strong employment history.
• Warm, affectionate, nurturing and genuinely passionate about early childhood development.
• Confident in encouraging independence and supporting individual development.
• Exceptionally punctual, reliable, organised and proactive.
• Direct, honest and an excellent communicator.
• Trustworthy, responsible and able to build a positive relationship with the family.
• Ideally local to Chiswick or familiar with the surrounding area.
