Daily Nanny (Monaco + International Travel)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, with some flexibility for weekends. 

Job Overview:
A private family based in Monaco is seeking an experienced and professional Full-Time Nanny to care for their daughter, aged 3½. She is a curious, articulate and active little girl who responds well to consistency, gentle structure and imaginative, age-appropriate engagement.

The nanny will work collaboratively with the parents and household team while also being confident taking sole charge for short periods when required. The nanny must be prepared to travel internationally with the family when required. There are no pets.

Responsibilities:

• Providing attentive, age-appropriate care and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
• Planning engaging and developmentally appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, early science, reading and outdoor play.
• Maintaining consistent daily routines, including meals, naps, playtime and age-appropriate educational activities.
• Supporting healthy eating habits and preparing simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the child.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation in the child’s areas and belongings.
• Providing kind, consistent and age-appropriate boundaries.
• Assisting the mother and child with appointments, activities and outings as required.
• Taking sole charge confidently for short periods when required.
• Travelling with the family and maintaining consistent care and routines while away from home.
• Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with the parents and household staff.

Ideal Nanny:

• Extensive previous nanny experience within private families, with excellent verifiable references for children of a similar age.
• Recognised childcare training or education, such as Early Years, Montessori, CACHE or equivalent.
• Calm, gentle, patient and observant, with a thoughtful approach to routines and boundaries.
• Highly discreet and committed to maintaining strict family and household confidentiality.
• Exceptionally organised, reliable and flexible.
• Willing and able to travel internationally with the family.
• Valid EU passport and the necessary travel eligibility for relevant destinations, including South Africa. Work permits cannot be provided.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Confident swimmer.
• French or Italian would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Experience working in multilingual or culturally diverse households would be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of developmental milestones and creative, play-based learning.
• Experience supporting healthy sleep routines and children’s nutrition would be beneficial.
