Job Overview:
A busy, sporty private family based in Kensington, London, is seeking two experienced and professional Rota Nannies to care for their three youngest children, B7, G5 and G1. The role involves working within a well-established, fully staffed household.
The primary focus of the role is the family’s one-year-old daughter, with the nanny taking full responsibility for her daily routine between 7:30am and 7:30pm. The nanny will also support B7 and G5 before and after school. There are two older children, aged 11 and 9, who are independent and are primarily cared for by the parents, housekeeper and nanny-governess, so they do not fall within the scope of this role.
There are always two members of staff supporting the children, comprising the rota nanny plus either the nanny-governess or the housekeeper. The parents usually take responsibility for the baby overnight, although the nanny will occasionally be required to sleep in the baby’s room, particularly whilst travelling. The successful candidate must also be confident taking sole charge of all three younger children overnight when both parents are away or out.
The role includes extensive travel throughout Europe, including family ski holidays. Comfortable accommodation is always provided whilst travelling, including a private bedroom and bathroom. There are no pets in the household, and none of the children have allergies.

Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive, nurturing and age-appropriate care for the three youngest children.
- Supporting the one-year-old’s weaning journey.
- Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals for the children.
- Supporting the one-year-old’s ongoing development through stimulating, age-appropriate activities.
- Assisting with homework when required.
- Supervising hygiene routines, mealtimes and bedtime routines.
- Maintaining calm, consistent routines and boundaries.
- Occasionally sleeping in the baby’s room when required.
- Taking sole charge of all three younger children overnight when both parents are away or out.
- Substantial, verifiable experience caring for babies and toddlers.
- Confident with weaning and preparing nutritious meals for young children.
- Experienced with school-age children and able to support homework and daily routines.
- Fluent Spanish or French speaker with a good level of English required for one of the two rota nanny positions.
- Warm, patient, hands-on and nurturing.
- Calm, down-to-earth, highly adaptable and quietly confident.
- Happy working in a fast-paced, fully staffed household.
- A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively with other staff members.
- Sporty, energetic and health-conscious, with a genuine enjoyment of an active family lifestyle.
- Flexible and happy to travel extensively.
- Full, clean driving licence preferred (willingness to drive and having their own car would be viewed favourably, although not essential).
