Job Title: Residential Nanny
Location: Kensington, London
Start Date: 1ˢᵗ August 2026
Salary: £55-£60K gross per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12 hours per day on a flexible schedule, with overnight monitor cover
Job Overview:
A lovely family based in Kensington are looking for a mature, caring, flexible and experienced Residential Nanny to help care for their son, who was born in August 2024. He is a happy little boy who is in a very good routine and will be starting nursery in September for three-hour mornings, Monday to Friday. He also enjoys attending classes, groups, playdates and activities.
This is a shared care role, as both parents are at home. The mother is very present and involved, and the father works from a home office. The current nanny is leaving due to a change in her personal circumstances, and the family would ideally like a handover period of a couple of weeks to help transition care smoothly. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 12 hours per day on a flexible schedule, which may include starting later to accommodate a dinner or starting earlier to allow the parents to attend a morning commitment.
The family live in a beautiful home in Kensington, around five minutes’ walk from Kensington High Street. The nanny will have their own private bedroom and ensuite bathroom from Monday to Friday. Driver not required.
