Job Overview:
A busy private family based in Knightsbridge is seeking an experienced, professional and mature SEN Rota Nanny to care for one child, born February 2015. The role is within a fully staffed household, where the main focus will be on the child’s care, development, structure and daily wellbeing.

The child has two younger siblings, who have their own nannies, so the successful candidate will need to work confidently as part of a wider nanny team and alongside other household staff. There is a high level of autonomy within the role, so the family are looking for someone organised, proactive and confident working on their own initiative.

Accommodation comprises an own bedroom and bathroom, either within the family home or within the nanny apartment. The family travel within Europe and internationally during school holidays, so the Rota Nanny must be happy to travel. The family have three dogs. A car driver is not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing attentive, professional care for one child, born February 2015.
  • Supporting the child with appropriate structure, boundaries and routines.
  • Managing challenging behaviour with patience, consistency and confidence.
  • Working closely with the wider nanny team and household staff.
  • Keeping up with administrative duties during school hours.
  • Planning for evenings, weekends and school holidays.
  • Supporting the child during domestic and international travel.
  • Ensuring the child’s day-to-day needs, wellbeing and development are prioritised.
Ideal Nanny:
  • Experienced SEN Rota Nanny.
  • Specific experience of ASC and ADHD is essential.
  • Mature, professional and confident in their approach.
  • Energetic, outgoing and equipped with a good sense of humour.
  • Patient, caring and able to set clear boundaries.
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour.
  • Highly organised, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Previous rota experience would be advantageous.
  • Happy to travel within Europe and internationally.
  • Comfortable working in a household with three dogs.
