Job Overview:
A family based in Hampshire, near Romsey, is seeking a capable and organised weekend nanny to support their childcare needs. The role focuses on caring for two young children aged 2 and 3, combining attentive, development-led childcare with elements of household coordination. The successful candidate will help maintain structure across the weekend and ensure a smooth transition between weekday and weekend care. The family are open to both live-in and live-out candidates. Accommodation can be provided for a live-in nanny, ensuring privacy and comfort. This position would suit an experienced nanny who enjoys an early years childcare role and is seeking a long-term weekend position with a well-established family. Due to the location, a driver is required with their own car.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing meals for the children.
• Coordinating age-appropriate activities.
• Liaising with the weekday nanny, who has been with the family for over 3 years.
• Managing transport to and from nursery and activities.
• Organising bookings, activities, and playdates.
• Communicating effectively with parents and any household staff.
• Keeping communal areas tidy and organised.
• Supporting the children’s overall well-being.
