Our client is an international e-commerce retailer. They have been trading for 20 years and are still independently run despite competing against retail giants. The office is bright and modern and the team all work to mutual goals.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an E-Commerce Administrator to join their E-Commerce team. The ideal candidate will be able to use their own initiative, and quick to learn new aspects of the job role. This role requires someone who will be able to multi-task and remain organised at all times.
The working environment is positive, friendly, and customer-orientated and they want all of their customers to benefit from the possible experience so every job role across all departments plays a vital role in this.
The role will be interesting and varied and will include:
• Data entry
• Printing invoices/dispatch notes and paperwork for the Goods In team, when required.
• Cropping and editing product imagery.
• Chasing up suppliers to collate information in an efficient and timely manner.
• Processing order confirmations to add incoming deliveries/products to the system.
• Writing accurate, interesting and enticing product descriptions that inform customers of the product's benefits and features.
• General, product-related, administrative duties.
• Ensuring supplier stock levels are accurate for those suppliers that we use with our auto-replenishment system.
• Responding to emails in an efficient and timely manner.
• Create product listings in bulk in Microsoft Excel and upload them to the system.
• Expected to work to productivity targets, where applicable to ensure fair work performance across the team.
• Any other duties commensurate with the post.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar, admin job role.
• GCSE English - Grade 5+ (Equivalent to a C)
• GCSE Maths - Grade 5+ (Equivalent to a C)
• GCSE IT - Grade 5+, Equivalent to a C (desired)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are vital in this role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
