Maintenance Engineer
Working within a busy production environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing packaging machinery, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and production downtime is kept to a minimum. - Salary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 after successful completion of probation
- Hours: Full Time | Permanent
- Shifts: 3-week rotating shifts | 6:00am - 2:00pm | 2:00pm - 10:00pm | 10:00pm - 6:00am
- Overtime paid after 40 hours

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on packaging machinery.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
- Complete maintenance records accurately.
- Work safely and follow company procedures at all times.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled engineering background.
- Good understanding of packaging machinery.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, reliable and able to follow instructions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Engineering qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
