Internal Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop an assigned sales territory, maximising opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Generate qualified appointments for the external sales team through proactive lead generation activities.
  • Develop and grow sales from existing, lapsed, and prospective customers.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Manage inbound enquiries and convert them into new business.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, online research, social media, and lead platforms.
  • Maintain and develop an active sales pipeline using the CRM system.
  • Achieve monthly sales, call activity, and business development targets.
  • Make a minimum of 40 outbound customer calls per day.
  • Produce accurate monthly sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Work closely with the wider sales team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Gather market intelligence to identify trends, customer needs and new business opportunities.
  • Occasionally attend trade shows and customer visits when required.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a targeted sales or business development role.
  • Proven success generating new business through outbound sales activity (B2B or B2C).
  • Experience working towards KPIs and sales targets.
  • Confident using CRM systems and managing customer databases.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong IT skills with experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence.
