Sales Administrator 

  • Location: West Bromwich
  • Hours: Monday to Friday | 8am–5pm
  • Salary: £26,000–£28,000

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and occasional in‑person visits, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally.
  • Manage the full order process, from initial enquiry through to completion, keeping customers informed at every stage.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing, issuing, and tracking customer quotations.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer information within the CRM system.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain delivery dates, pricing, and product information, ensuring customers receive timely and accurate updates.
  • Raise and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and data accuracy.
 
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in an administrative role with strong attention to detail and accurate data handling.
  • Confident communicator with experience managing enquiries, resolving issues, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and CRM platforms (experience with Abaca is advantageous).
  • Professional, proactive, and self‑motivated, with a genuine commitment to supporting customers and the wider sales team.
