Key Responsibilities
- Respond to general HR queries from employees and managers.
- Record and manage holiday requests and employee absences.
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Provide administrative support throughout the full employment lifecycle.
- Prepare reports for payroll, senior management and external third parties.
- Arrange and book staff training courses and development activities.
- Draft letters and documentation, including Contracts of Employment, using established templates.
- Manage diaries and inboxes as required.
- Support the HR Manager with additional administrative duties and projects.
- Previous experience within a HR administration or similar role (ideally a minimum of one year's experience).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English, Maths and IT.
