Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing supplier orders and supporting the end-to-end purchasing process
- Monitor stock levels and highlight any shortages or potential issues
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update systems accordingly
- Create and maintain reports using Excel to support decision-making
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Support the resolution of supplier queries, delays, or order issues
- Provide general administrative support to the purchasing and wider office team
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills (Maths and English essential)
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Business A-Level (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
