Pay: £12.78 per hour (£25,917.84 annual equivalent)

  • Temp (12–13 weeks) to Permanent 
  • Location: Witton, Birmingham
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm | 39 hours per week
  • Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service & Sales Support Administrator to join their friendly, fully office-based team. This role combines customer service, quotations, returns, and sales administration, offering excellent variety and responsibility.

The Role

Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will be responsible for managing customer queries, processing quotations, coordinating faulty returns, and supporting the sales function to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer satisfaction.

You will play a key role in ensuring all customer interactions, quotations, returns and administrative processes are handled efficiently, professionally, and accurately.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Returns
  • Handling customer queries and complaints via email and telephone
  • Processing customer returns and arranging replacement orders
  • Raising and managing carrier claims
  • Coordinating faulty returns and liaising directly with suppliers
  • Logging and updating customer records accurately within the CRM system

Sales & Quotations Support
  • Raising and amending proforma quotations
  • Managing and responding to the quotes inbox efficiently
  • Liaising with the Business Development Manager regarding special pricing
  • Updating and maintaining the CRM system
General Administration
  • Managing invoices and related administrative tasks
  • Responding to emails professionally, politely, and with strong grammatical accuracy
  • Supporting both the Customer Service and Sales teams with general administrative duties as required

The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience within customer service and/or sales administration (essential)
  • Confident, polite, and professional communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and listening skills
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM systems, service email systems, and in-house databases
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
