Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day NPD operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Production, Procurement, Marketing, Quality, and Commercial teams
- Translate consumer insights and market research into actionable product concepts
- Review and approve formulations, prototypes, and technical specifications
- Manage project timelines, resources, and stage-gate documentation
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments for new developments
- Ensure products comply with internal quality standards and regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements
- Support scale-up, factory trials, and production launches to ensure smooth transition into manufacture
- Drive continuous improvement across NPD processes to enhance efficiency and product success rates
- Lead, motivate, and develop the NPD team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
- Organise workloads, priorities, and resource allocation
- Provide performance reporting and updates to the Commercial Manager
- Build strong internal relationships to support collaboration and successful delivery
- Proven experience managing NPD projects from concept to launch
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing technical or NPD teams
- Commercially minded, able to manage costs, timelines, and project budgets
- Confident working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised, with excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
