This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting both internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a first point of contact for incoming calls and emails, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Accurately process sales orders and communicate requirements to the production team.
- Liaise with the warehouse to obtain lead times and dispatch information, then relay updates to the sales team.
- Place occasional supplier orders when required.
- Prepare dispatch documentation via the internal system (Sage) and liaise with carriers to arrange delivery.
- Check invoices generated in Sage, ensure accuracy, and issue to customers via email.
- Maintain and organise daily documentation and filing.
- Monitor and order office supplies, including stationery, when needed.
- Review carriage cost invoices, cross-reference against agreed terms, and sign off for payment approval.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in an administrative, sales support, or order processing role.
- Confident using business systems such as Sage (or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.
