Location: Cannock, Office Based | Including Overnight Stays

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm


This role is the critical starting point of the sales cycle. Your mission is to identify and pursue high-potential prospects, engage key decision-makers, create genuine interest, and generate qualified sales opportunities for the field-based Consultants. You will be the driving force behind new business outreach and early-stage pipeline creation.


What You’ll Be Doing

Prospecting & Research
  • Identify and research suitable prospect companies within target markets.
  • Locate key decision-makers and produce detailed bios and contact intelligence.
  • Cleanse and qualify data against lead assessment scoring criteria to maintain an accurate, high-quality pipeline.
Lead Generation & Engagement
  • Create warm, engaged leads.
  • Book high-quality sales meetings with decision-makers using telemarketing, email outreach, social selling, and multi-channel engagement strategies.
  • Support Consultants by attending initial appointments when required, ensuring a seamless handover of opportunities.
Events, Campaigns & Networking
  • Attend industry exhibitions and trade shows, capturing and nurturing leads in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Participate in regional drop-in days to increase visibility and expand relationships.
  • Attend relevant networking events to proactively engage with senior decision-makers.
  • Execute targeted direct marketing campaigns to specific stakeholders.
Pipeline & CRM Management
  • Maintain an accurate, organised, and sufficiently populated prospect pipeline to consistently meet meeting-booking targets.
  • Ensure all interactions, data, and progress updates are accurately recorded.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong prospecting and research skills to identify target companies and decision-makers.
  • Experience in lead generation using telemarketing, email, and social selling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled in attending events, trade shows, and executing targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in CRM and data management to maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisation, time management, and resilience.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve product, market, and personal knowledge.
