What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and execution of the organisation’s HSQE strategy, aligning with ISO standards and industry best practice.
- Advise senior leadership on HSQE performance, risks, and emerging issues.
- Champion a proactive, forward-thinking approach to risk management and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and certification requirements.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and supplier/contractor compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Lead sustainability initiatives, environmental management, and corporate social responsibility programs.
- Develop and empower teams, embedding HSQE principles into everyday business operations.
What we’re looking for:
- NEBOSH, IOSH, and IEMA qualifications; professional membership (CMIOSH, CIQ, IEMA, ASQ) desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ senior leadership experience in HSQE, preferably in complex or multi-site operations.
- Proven experience implementing ISO management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and leading audits/certifications.
- Strong knowledge of HSQE regulations, standards, and frameworks.
- Track record of driving cultural change, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
