Location: Digbeth | Birmingham – Office-based

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Thursday | 8am – 4.30pm      Friday | 8am – 12.30pm



We’re working on behalf of a well-established and growing business to recruit an experienced Sales Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background in a fast-paced commercial environment to join a friendly and collaborative team. You’ll be a key support to the sales function, ensuring smooth coordination between internal departments and customers across both UK and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process customer orders, quotes, and sample requests
  • Manage and update customer records and CRM systems
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls relating to orders and general enquiries
  • Liaise with customers to provide product information and resolve any queries
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Support overseas and domestic sales operations
  • Prepare and manage domestic and international post
  • Provide administrative cover during team absences and contribute to the wider office support where required
  • Report directly to the Sales Administration Manager
  • Full product and system training provided

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven background in sales administration or a similar administrative role (ideally minimum 2 years)
  • Confident communicator with a polite and professional telephone manner
  • Proactive, organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software
  • Quick to learn new product ranges and systems
  • Strong reliability in terms of attendance and punctuality
  • A team player with a flexible and positive approach
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
