Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday: Lunchtime finish
Travel Requirements: Open to travel throughout the UK and occasionally within Europe.

Role Overview:
This position involves the installation, refurbishment, and upkeep of company machinery at customer sites. You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless, high-quality service is delivered to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute as a key team member in assembling, refurbishing, and servicing both standard and custom-built equipment.
- Perform installations of new machinery into both manual setups and automated production lines.
- Conduct routine servicing and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment including automatic nut/bolt feeders, resistance welding systems, and associated control units.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized workshop, including tools, materials, and equipment.
- Carry out on-site installations and maintenance, primarily across the UK, with occasional travel to mainland Europe.
- Manage the sourcing and procurement of required consumables.
- Sales Support: Engage with customers directly, assisting in the provision of accurate information to the sales team for quotation development.
- Process & Quality Improvement:Collaborate with management to improve internal workflows and contribute to continuous product and process enhancement.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven, hands-on experience in maintaining industrial machinery.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including control panels.
- Competence in reading technical schematics (mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical).
- Solid grasp of core engineering practices (e.g., materials handling, drilling, tapping).
- Self-sufficient with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues independently.
- Quality-focused, with a commitment to precision and first-time-right execution.
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver results within set time and cost constraints.
- Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and an eye for potential business development.
- Effective communicator and team player, capable of building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available if not certified).
