Duties will include:
- Managing a portfolio of around 250 customers, building strong relationships and increasing business activity.
- Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Contacting customers to introduce and upsell products across the range.
- Generating quotes and updating CRM records accurately.
- Maintaining documentation including order forms and price registers.
- Handling web and telephone enquiries professionally.
- Carrying out prospecting and cold calling to generate new leads.
- Re-engaging with lapsed customers to encourage new business.
- Preparing reports and contributing to monthly sales meetings.
- Taking part in regular product training sessions with suppliers and internal teams.
- Previous experience in a sales or account management role (internal or outbound).
- A proactive and motivated approach to developing new and existing business.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence on the phone.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- A desire to progress and succeed in a sales environment.
