We’re working with a well-established organisation that is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Claims Coordinator to join their busy office based in Swanley. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in claims coordination or reactive maintenance who take pride in delivering a first-class service from start to finish.


About the Role:
As a key point of contact for customers, you’ll play an essential role in managing the full lifecycle of each claim – from initial instruction through to job completion. You’ll ensure that each interaction is handled with care, clarity and professionalism while coordinating with a range of internal and external stakeholders including engineers, insurers, and trades teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of property claims, ensuring all cases are progressed efficiently and within service level agreements
  • Liaise with customers via phone and email throughout each stage of their claim, providing regular updates and support
  • Accurately maintain client systems, updating case notes, logs and schedules
  • Coordinate with internal field teams and subcontractors to arrange site visits and repairs
  • Schedule workloads effectively, ensuring technician availability and travel times are optimised

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in claims handling, customer service, administration or housing maintenance coordination
  • Confidence in speaking with customers over the phone, particularly those who may be upset or in distress
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive and professional approach
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
