The Opportunity:
As Business Development Manager, your focus will be 100% on new business generation. This is a proactive, outbound sales role where you’ll be identifying and converting new opportunities across air, sea, and road freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and secure new business through cold calling, outreach, and networking
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of freight forwarding prospects
- Build and maintain relationships to maximise long-term value
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Represent the business with professionalism, confidence, and drive
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years’ B2B sales experience with a strong track record of winning new business
- Experience in freight forwarding (air, sea, and/or road) is essential
- Confident communicator with natural rapport-building skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a results-driven environment
- Strong commercial awareness, resilience, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a structured pipeline and spot new opportunities
