Warehouse & Assembly Operative – Temp to Perm
You’ll be part of a small, friendly team handling a mix of warehouse operations and light assembly duties. The role includes working across Goods In, Dispatch, Stock Control, Returns, and Assembly, supporting wider business functions including Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing.

- Location: Perry Barr, Birmingham
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Pay: National Minimum Wage - £12.21 per hour (to be reviewed upon permanent offer)
You’ll be part of a small, friendly team handling a mix of warehouse operations and light assembly duties. The role includes working across Goods In, Dispatch, Stock Control, Returns, and Assembly, supporting wider business functions including Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and processing deliveries from suppliers
- Booking in stock in line with QC and Goods In procedures
- Stock put-away and location management via internal systems
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
- Processing returns and handling courier bookings
- Loading goods onto transport
- Performing stock checks and formal stock takes
- Light assembly of products using hand tools
- Updating systems to ensure stock accuracy
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Physically comfortable being on your feet throughout the day
- Confident lifting up to 20kg and using pump trucks
- Computer literate with good attention to detail
- Comfortable with basic hand tools
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Willingness to gain a forklift license (if not already held)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or assembly environment
- Full UK driving license
