Key Responsibilities will include:
- Creating and processing sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Chasing outstanding payments in line with company procedures and allocating payments accordingly
- Maintaining effective credit control reporting
- Handling purchase invoices and ensuring timely data entry
- Responding to customer queries and directing them to the appropriate team
- Supporting the wider team with general administration tasks including telephone handling and call directing
- Booking travel and accommodation, ensuring cost-effective arrangements
- Managing office consumables and assisting with lunch provision when required
- Meeting and greeting visitors and ensuring they are signed in appropriately
- Processing and posting weekly expenses in line with business needs
What we’re looking for:
- A keen interest in building a career in finance
- GCSE Maths essential
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Trustworthy, discreet and professional
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
The role will also include:
- Dedicated time (20% of working hours) to attend college or complete online learning for the AAT Level 2 Certificate
- Exposure to a wide range of financial processes and business administration tasks
- Ongoing support from a friendly, experienced team
