As a Site Supervisor, you'll oversee daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll manage teams, coordinate activities, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brief and supervise civil teams on daily tasks, ensuring safety and clarity.
- Manage excavation, backfilling, and reinstatement work within designated areas.
- Coordinate permits, amendments, and communicate with project managers and relevant teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including SSRA’s and local authority regulations.
- Inspect sites regularly to ensure work is progressing safely and according to plan.
- Track project progress, ensuring targets are met and work is completed on time.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring all teams have working tablets and necessary resources.
- Conduct regular site audits, including assessing plant usage and team competencies.
- Manage risk assessments, pre-site evaluations, and ensure proper traffic management is in place.
- Address any issues or damages promptly, ensuring proper investigation and resolution.
Qualifications & Training:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- GCSEs Grade 9-4 (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on civil works and de-looping.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a strong "can-do" attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and work proactively.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance.
