The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and delivering projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage day-to-day operations while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage daily operational calls and resolve any issues raised, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards across all project sites.
- Review and manage project documentation, including invoices, reports, and defect management.
- Coordinate resources and scheduling for weekend work and ensure the availability of necessary assets.
- Conduct regular site and depot visits to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address missing paperwork, safety audits, and training requirements.
- Manage and resolve any escalated issues related to project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and support the induction process for new starters, ensuring proper training and asset allocation.
- Assist in managing HR-related matters, including meetings and team management, in line with company policies.
Qualifications & Training
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- GCSEs Grade 9-4 (or equivalent).
Technical Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar Project Management role.
- Strong self-motivation and results-oriented approach.
- Excellent collaborative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain safety and compliance while achieving project goals.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proactive work ethic.
