Job Type: 12 month FTC, Full Time 

Excellent Location: Central Birmingham with occasional business travel

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm | Hybrid after training

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Customer Service team to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
  • Handle recruitment, training, and ongoing development of team members.
  • Monitor and manage complaints, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement and maintain a strong control environment.

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a team leader / managerial role within Financial Services.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in customer service, complaint management, and people management.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and handle challenging conversations with ease.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data for decision-making.

Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with Finova banking tools.
  • Understanding of Consumer Duty, GDPR, and the Data Protection Act
